His contribution was pivotal in setting the tone for the Clippers' offense. Trail Blazers Struggle to Keep Pace

The Trail Blazers struggled offensively against a stout Clippers defense, shooting only 37 percent from the field compared to LA's efficient 56 percent shooting night. Despite managing to draw fouls effectively with a free throw percentage of 92 percent, they couldn't capitalize on these opportunities enough to close down their deficit.

Portland was led by bench contributions that accounted for nearly half of their total points (47), indicating depth but also highlighting struggles among starters to impact scoring significantly against LA's defense.
