Nikola Jokic led Denver’s charge with consistent scoring throughout all quarters but faced challenges against LA’s tight defense which limited his usual dominance on court. Jamal Murray contributed significantly as well; however, turnovers proved costly for them as they committed twenty overall compared to eleven from LA.


Despite these setbacks, Denver showcased resilience particularly through second-chance efforts where they capitalized on offensive rebounds leading to eighteen second-chance points—an area where they outperformed LA who managed only five such points during similar situations.


Denver’s bench provided additional support contributing nineteen bench-points which helped keep them within striking distance till late stages when ultimately falling behind due largely due lackluster free throw shooting accuracy standing merely sixty-four percent compared eighty-three percent achieved by visiting team from Los Angeles
