In their last game against the Boston Celtics, despite falling short with a final score of 115-126, the Lakers showed tenacity. They managed to keep up in scoring during each quarter but were outpaced by Boston's explosive third quarter. The team's field goal percentage stood at 48 percent and they hit an impressive 41 percent from beyond the arc. However, turnovers proved costly as they gave up 19 points from these mistakes.

Prior to that game, the Lakers secured a victory over Oklahoma City Thunder with an impressive scoreline of 129-120. Their offensive prowess was on full display as they shot at a remarkable rate of 52 percent from the field and converted half of their three-point attempts. This performance was backed by strong ball movement resulting in 37 assists and limiting themselves to just nine turnovers.

However, consistency remains elusive for this squad; two days earlier against Minnesota Timberwolves, they suffered a narrow defeat with a score of 111-118. While their shooting percentages remained high (49 percent from field goals and around 42 percent for three-pointers), turnovers once again plagued them as they committed eighteen which led to thirteen points for Minnesota.

The upcoming game promises excitement as both teams look to assert dominance on court. For fans looking forward to witnessing this showdown live or through broadcasts can tune in on January 20th at Crypto.com Arena or watch via SportsNet LA channel or YES network depending upon your location.
