Lakers Outlast Pacers in High-Scoring Affair at Crypto.com Arena

In a game that showcased offensive firepower, the Los Angeles Lakers emerged victorious over the Indiana Pacers with a final score of 150-145. The Lakers now hold a record of 39-32, while the Pacers stand at 40-32 after this encounter.

The contest was an exhibition of scoring efficiency from both teams. The Lakers shot an impressive 56 percent from the field and were even more lethal from the free-throw line, converting 88 percent of their attempts. Their three-point shooting was also on point, hitting nearly half their shots beyond the arc at a rate of 48 percent.


The home team's points in the paint were another highlight, with Los Angeles scoring 70 points up close to Indiana's defense. This inside dominance was complemented by their ability to capitalize on turnovers, adding another 21 points to their tally in this category. The bench contributed significantly as well, chipping in with 28 points.

Defensively, Los Angeles managed to block seven shots and matched Indiana with six steals each. Despite being outrebounded by three boards overall (48 for LAL and 51 for IND), they maintained control for much of the game—leading for over half an hour compared to just over sixteen minutes for Indiana.


On the other side, Indiana put up a valiant effort offensively as well. They shot efficiently from two-point range at a rate of 58 percent and matched that percentage when attacking inside for points in paint (68). From beyond the arc, they hit an impressive half of their attempts but struggled slightly from the charity stripe with only nine makes out of sixteen attempts.

The Pacers' playmaking was noteworthy; they dished out thirty-nine assists throughout four quarters and had eleven different players contributing to scoring efforts led by forty-nine bench points. However, despite having more possessions than Los Angeles (115), they couldn't maintain their biggest lead which stood at eleven points during one stretch.
