Lakers Triumph in Double-Overtime Saga Against Bucks at Fiserv Forum

The Los Angeles Lakers, with a 40-32 record, emerged victorious in a hard-fought battle against the Milwaukee Bucks, who now stand at 46-26. The final score read 128-124 in favor of the visiting team.

The game was an intense affair that stretched into double overtime before the Lakers could secure their win. The Los Angeles Lakers showed resilience as they overcame a significant deficit; at one point during the game, they trailed by as much as 19 points. However, their determination saw them claw back into contention and eventually take control of the game.


Offensively, the Lakers were led by an impressive free throw performance where they capitalized on their opportunities from the line with a remarkable 94 percent success rate. They also demonstrated efficiency from beyond the arc and inside paint with respective shooting percentages of 32 and 50.

Defensively, Los Angeles made its presence felt by amassing eight blocks and four steals throughout the contest. This defensive effort contributed to limiting their opponents to just one point per possession while themselves scoring slightly higher at an average of 1.03 points per possession.


The bench played its role effectively for both teams but was particularly impactful for Milwaukee contributing a substantial 26 bench points compared to only 13 from Los Angeles' reserves.

Despite leading for only just over two hours of game time compared to Milwaukee's dominant lead time of nearly fifty minutes, it was crucial plays down the stretch that allowed Los Angeles to outlast their opponents in this marathon matchup.
