Will the Los Angeles Lakers Extend Their Winning Ways Against the Pelicans?

As the Los Angeles Lakers prepare to face off against the New Orleans Pelicans, fans are eager to see if their team can maintain their recent performance uptick. The Lakers have shown a promising trend in their past games, with a notable victory over the Brooklyn Nets where they dominated with a score of 116-104. In that game, they exhibited impressive efficiency with a field goal percentage of 54 and an even more striking three-point percentage at 38. Their points in paint were also substantial at 48, showcasing their ability to penetrate defenses.

However, consistency has been somewhat elusive for the Lakers as evidenced by their subsequent game against the Indiana Pacers. Despite putting up a good fight, they fell short with a score of 90-109. The team's field goal percentage dipped to 41 and was particularly lackluster from beyond the arc at just 17 percent.

The Lakers bounced back in style against the Memphis Grizzlies by posting an imposing total of 136 points while allowing 124. They excelled from both two-point range (56 percent) and three-point range (54 percent), indicating that when their shooting is on point, they can outscore any opponent.

With these recent performances in mind, fans should look forward to seeing if this trend continues as they visit Smoothie King Center—a venue where home-court advantage will be firmly with New Orleans Pelicans but one which has witnessed many memorable moments for visiting teams too.

The upcoming game is scheduled for April 14th at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans and will tip-off at 12:30 PM local time. Fans won't want to miss this exciting matchup and can catch all the action on BSNO or SportsNet LA networks.
