LeBron James led the charge for the Lakers with an impressive stat line of 34 points, 6 assists, and 8 rebounds. On defense, Los Angeles managed to out-rebound New Orleans significantly with a total rebound count of 59 compared to New Orleans' 43. This advantage allowed them more second-chance opportunities and limited New Orleans' offensive possessions.


For New Orleans, despite their loss, they showed resilience and competitive spirit. They managed to score efficiently from inside paint with a total of 74 points coming from that area but struggled from beyond the arc which ultimately hindered their ability to keep pace with Los Angeles.
