First Quarter

The game began with an explosive start from the Lakers, who took control early on. LeBron James led the charge with his dynamic playmaking and scoring ability, contributing significantly to their initial 39-point quarter. The Lake Show's defense also held strong, limiting Buzz City to just 30 points in this period.

Second Quarter

However, momentum shifted dramatically in the second quarter. The Hornets tightened their defense and found their rhythm offensively, outscoring Los Angeles by a substantial margin. Despite Luka Dončić's efforts to keep pace with his impressive shooting display, Charlotte managed to pull ahead by halftime.

Third Quarter

In the third quarter, both teams ramped up their offensive efforts. While Dončić continued his scoring spree for Los Angeles with notable support from Jake LaRavia off the bench, it was not enough to counteract Charlotte's relentless attack led by LaMelo Ball and company. The Hornets amassed an impressive 40 points during this period alone.

Fourth Quarter

As time wound down in the fourth quarter, Charlotte maintained its dominance inside the paint and on fast breaks. Despite spirited attempts from Marcus Smart and Rui Hachimura to close the gap for Los Angeles through defensive plays and quick transitions respectively; Buzz City's lead proved insurmountable as they sealed victory comfortably.
