Clash at Crypto.com Arena: Memphis Grizzlies Take On Los Angeles Lakers

As the Memphis Grizzlies prepare to face off against the Los Angeles Lakers at the Crypto.com Arena, fans are eager to see if their team can turn around a challenging start to the season. The Grizzlies' recent performance has been a rollercoaster of highs and lows, but there's reason to believe that an upset could be on the horizon.

In their last game on November 12 against the LA Clippers, also at Crypto.com Arena, Memphis showed signs of resilience. Despite a record of 2 wins and 8 losses before that game, they managed to secure a victory with 105 points over the Clippers' 101. This win was characterized by strong defensive play, as evidenced by their six blocks and seven steals. Moreover, they outrebounded their opponents with an impressive total of 55 rebounds and maintained a lead for over two-thirds of the game.

The offensive efforts were led by bench players who contributed significantly with 30 points. The team's ability to score in paint was notable as well; they put up 48 points from close range while shooting over fifty percent from two-point range. However, it wasn't all smooth sailing – turnovers were an issue for MEM as they gave up possession sixteen times which translated into nineteen points for their opponents.

Looking back further at another home game on November 11 against Utah Jazz reveals some concerns for MEM fans. The Grizzlies lost this high-scoring affair with a final scoreline showing them six points shy at 121-127 despite playing in front of their home crowd at FedExForum in Memphis. Defensive woes were apparent as they allowed Utah Jazz to shoot nearly sixty percent from two-point territory and just under fifty percent from beyond the arc.

Yet there are positives even in defeat; MEM showcased its scoring depth with thirty-three bench points and kept turnovers relatively low compared to previous outings (eleven). They also demonstrated tenacity in offensive rebounding grabbing fourteen compared to Utah's eight which resulted in eighteen second-chance points.

When it comes down to predictions for this upcoming battle against LAL on November 15th, one must consider both teams' trajectories thus far into the season. While LAL will have home-court advantage and likely come into this matchup favored given MEM's rocky start – don't count out an upset just yet.

The key factors will be whether or not MEM can maintain its defensive intensity displayed against LA Clippers while simultaneously tightening up ball security issues seen throughout earlier games this month. If they manage these aspects effectively while capitalizing on scoring opportunities inside – particularly through bench contributions – then fans might witness another surprising victory away from home soil.

Grizzlies supporters should mark their calendars for Tuesday night when these two teams clash under bright lights starting at approximately 7:30 PM local time (Los Angeles). Fans unable or preferring not attend can catch all action live via broadcast networks SportsNet LA channel number is six hundred ninety-one or BSSE channel number is six hundred forty-nine depending upon your location.
