Clash at FedExForum: Memphis Grizzlies to Host Minnesota Timberwolves

In their last game on November 24 against the Phoenix Suns, the Grizzlies fell short with a final score of 89-110. However, there were positive takeaways from that game. The team's two-point shooting was impressive at 60 percent and they managed to put up a solid 48 points in the paint. This inside scoring prowess will be crucial against a Timberwolves team that has had its own defensive challenges.

The bench also stepped up for Memphis in that game, contributing a notable 37 points. This depth could prove vital as they face off against Minnesota's squad. Moreover, with an assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.69 and only two team turnovers in their previous outing, ball security seems to be one area where MEM is excelling.

On the other side of the court, while Minnesota has had its ups and downs this season as well, they bring a competitive edge that cannot be overlooked by any means. Their ability to spread out defenses with outside shooting can pose significant challenges for opponents.

However, it's worth noting that during their last encounter on November 20 against Boston Celtics – another formidable opponent – MEM showcased resilience despite falling just short by two points (100-102). They demonstrated strong three-point shooting at nearly 39 percent and fought hard throughout with seven lead changes witnessed during this tightly contested battle.

The upcoming contest is more than just another game; it’s an opportunity for MEM to leverage home-court advantage and make a statement about their direction this season. With players like Ja Morant leading the charge with his dynamic playmaking abilities and Jaren Jackson Jr.'s defensive presence inside – not forgetting Dillon Brooks' tenacity on both ends – there’s potential for an upset here if all cylinders are firing simultaneously.

Grizzlies fans should expect nothing less than maximum effort from their squad come game day as every win counts towards building momentum towards playoff contention aspirations or even securing better positioning for future prospects depending on how you view this transitional phase for them.

Mark your calendars: The showdown between Memphis Grizzlies and Minnesota Timberwolves is scheduled for November 26 at FedExForum in Memphis starting at 5:00 PM CT (6:00 PM ET). Fans can catch all the action live on BSSE channel number 649 or BSN channel number 668 depending on your location.
