In their last game on January 8 against the Phoenix Suns, MEM showed resilience and an ability to close out games. With a final score of 121-115, they demonstrated that even with a less-than-stellar win-loss record (14-23), they can still pull off victories against formidable opponents. Their scoring was consistent across all four quarters, with impressive stats including eight blocks and seven steals. Furthermore, their bench contributed a solid 36 points.

The Grizzlies' performance on January 6 against the Los Angeles Lakers was even more telling of their potential. They racked up an impressive 127 points with a field goal percentage of 54 and three-point shooting at an incredible rate of 51 percent. This offensive explosion was complemented by strong defense that included four blocks and eight steals.

However, it's not just about offense for MEM; they've shown substantial improvement in ball movement as well. With an assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.94 in their game against LAL, it's clear that when they focus on distribution and taking care of the ball, they can compete with high-caliber teams.

On January 4th versus Toronto Raptors at FedExForum though, MEM fell short by five points (111-116). Despite this loss, there were positive takeaways such as maintaining a decent field goal percentage (43) and free throw accuracy (84 percent). Their tenacity is evident in how they fought back from deficits which is crucial when facing teams like DAL who have been known for their strong finishes.

The upcoming game will be challenging as DAL has been playing well on home turf. The key matchup will likely be between each team’s star players who have been instrumental in leading fast breaks and scoring in paint throughout this season.

For Memphis fans looking forward to seeing if their team can continue its upward trajectory or if Dallas will defend its home court advantage effectively – mark your calendars for January 9th at 7:30 PM CT time zone at American Airlines Center in Dallas TX zip code area:75219 . The game will be broadcast nationally on NBA TV channel number:216 , while local fans can tune into BSSW channel number:676 or BSSE channel number:649 . Don't miss what promises to be an exciting encounter between these two Western Conference rivals!
