In their recent victory over the Golden State Warriors on January 15, Memphis displayed a commendable performance, outscoring their opponents 116-107. The game was marked by a strong defensive effort with 10 blocks and an impressive 13 steals. Moreover, they capitalized on turnovers, scoring 30 points off them. This aggressive defense could be pivotal in their upcoming game against Minnesota.

The Grizzlies' bench depth was also on full display as they contributed a significant 57 points to the win. This kind of support will be crucial in maintaining energy levels and keeping up with Minnesota's pace throughout all four quarters.

However, it wasn't all smooth sailing for Memphis in recent games. The loss against New York Knicks on January 14 highlighted some areas of concern. Despite putting up more assists than turnovers (27 assists to 12 turnovers), they struggled from beyond the arc with only a 24 percent success rate from three-point range.

Their battle against LA Clippers on January 13 showcased both strengths and weaknesses; while they managed an impressive offensive rebound count (17) leading to second-chance points (20), defensive lapses allowed Clippers' shooters too much space as evidenced by LA's high shooting percentages across the board.

Looking ahead at their next matchup, MEM must focus on tightening up defensively without sacrificing offensive production – especially from downtown where MIN could potentially exploit any inconsistency.

The Timberwolves will not make it easy for them though; MIN is known for its tenacity and home-court advantage may play into their hands. However, if MEM can replicate its defensive intensity from previous games while finding more consistency in shooting threes, there's every chance that fans will witness another thrilling victory.

As anticipation builds towards this clash of titans set for January 18 at Target Center in Minneapolis at 9:00 PM CT time zone difference considered – fans should mark their calendars and tune into TNT channel number 245 nationally to catch all the action live. Will Memphis rise above expectations once again? Only time will tell if they can secure another hard-fought win away from home.
