The Miami Heat displayed a determined effort throughout the game. They led for over eleven minutes and managed to secure a seven-point lead as their biggest advantage during play. Despite this, they were unable to maintain control against the Pacers' persistent offense. The Heat's scoring was consistent across quarters with contributions of 29, 21, 27, and finally 22 points in each respective period.

The team's shooting accuracy from beyond the arc was modest with an eleven out of thirty-nine three-point attempts finding success, translating to a twenty-eight percent completion rate. However, they excelled at free throws where they achieved perfection by making all twenty-six attempts.

Defensively speaking, Miami managed ten steals and blocked two shots but struggled with turnovers committing nineteen which led to twenty points for Indiana. On the rebounding front, they collected fifty in total which included eight offensive boards contributing to eleven second-chance points.

A standout statistic for Miami was their one hundred percent free throw shooting coupled with an effective field goal percentage of forty-five percent and true shooting percentage reaching fifty-four percent. Their efforts inside were notable as well; eighteen out of thirty-two attempts made it through within paint resulting in thirty-six paint points.

On the other side of court, Indiana Pacers showed resilience especially during fast breaks where they scored twenty-five points from such opportunities and held on despite multiple lead changes throughout the game. Their bench played a significant role adding thirty-eight points compared to nineteen from Miami's reserves.
