The Miami Heat started strong, leading for almost 23 minutes and achieving their biggest lead of 11 points. However, they couldn't maintain their momentum against the visiting team. The home team managed to accumulate a total of 96 points throughout the match but struggled from beyond the arc with only ten three-pointers made out of thirty-two attempts, translating into a three-point shooting percentage of approximately thirty-one percent.

The Detroit Pistons demonstrated superior shooting efficiency with an effective field goal percentage rounding up to sixty percent and converting nineteen out of forty-one three-point attempts which is about forty-six percent success rate from distance. Their offense was particularly potent as they led by as much as twenty-two points and dominated in bench scoring contributing fifty-four points.

Defensively, both teams were active on the court; however, it was evident that Miami had difficulty containing Detroit's offensive plays. The Heat managed seven steals and two blocks but were outdone by Detroit's eight steals and one block which proved enough for them to control the game flow.

Miami's efforts were not without merit; they drew nineteen fouls and scored twenty free throws on twenty-six attempts giving them approximately seventy-seven percent from the line. They also showed resilience in second-chance opportunities by scoring eleven second-chance points off eight attempts – a fifty percent success rate.

Despite these efforts, turnovers proved costly for Miami who committed fifteen compared to thirteen by Detroit. This aspect contributed significantly to their loss as it allowed fifteen points off turnovers for Detroit while Miami could only capitalize on ten such opportunities.

Looking ahead after this setback at home, Miami Heat fans can anticipate their next game against LA Clippers at Kaseya Center in Miami on December 8th at 7:30 PM Eastern Time. Fans eager to support can catch all live action broadcasted nationally on NBA TV channel two hundred sixteen or locally via BSSUN channel six hundred fifty-three or BSSC channel six hundred ninety-three depending on location.
