Miami's bench contributed significantly with 23 points but fell short compared to Oklahoma City's reserves who put up a solid performance with 35 bench points. Despite drawing more fouls than their opponents and making more free throw attempts (28), resulting in an excellent free throw percentage of approximately 82 percent, it wasn't enough to secure victory.

Defensively, Miami managed to block three shots and steal possession eight times from Oklahoma City.
