Pelicans' Effort Not Enough

The New Orleans Pelicans showed resilience despite trailing behind for most of the game. They managed to put up over one hundred points against one of their conference rivals thanks in part to their fast break opportunities where they scored twenty-one points at a success rate of sixty-seven percent from such plays.

Their efforts in paint were notable as well; they scored fifty-six points inside but struggled beyond three-point line making only nine out of thirty-four attempts which significantly impacted their chance at closing down on Miami’s lead.
