Thunder Strikes Back

On the other side, Oklahoma City Thunder capitalized on turnovers and fast break opportunities. They scored an impressive 20 points from fast breaks compared to Miami’s ten and took advantage of turnovers by scoring 27 points off them. The Thunder were led by dynamic plays across their roster but particularly benefited from their ability to convert opportunities into points effectively.

Despite being outplayed in certain aspects of the game such as rebounding and points in paint where Miami scored more (46 against Oklahoma City’s 50), it was ultimately Oklahoma City’s efficient shooting (49 percent from field goals) that secured them victory over Heat's resilient defense.
