Miami's Offensive Challenges

The Miami team struggled to find their rhythm offensively throughout the game. Despite having home-court advantage, they were unable to capitalize on key opportunities. Bam Adebayo led the scoring for Miami with 22 points and also contributed nine rebounds. However, his efforts were overshadowed by turnovers and missed shots that plagued the team.

Tyler Herro added 13 points and four rebounds but faced difficulties in maintaining shooting consistency, hitting only 38 percent of his field goals. Davion Mitchell showed promise off the bench with an efficient performance, scoring 16 points on a remarkable field goal percentage of 64 percent.

The team's overall shooting was lackluster; they managed just a 42 percent field goal percentage and struggled inside the paint with only a two-point shooting success rate of 38 percent. Their three-point shooting was more effective at 47 percent but not enough to close the gap against Cleveland's strong defense.

Cleveland's Commanding Performance

On the other side of the court, Cleveland displayed dominance from start to finish. The Cavaliers' offensive prowess was evident as they shot an impressive overall field goal percentage of 54 percent and excelled in two-point attempts with a success rate of nearly two-thirds.

Their balanced attack saw contributions from multiple players; however, it was their ability to control possessions that stood out most significantly in this matchup. They recorded fewer turnovers compared to Miami’s total turnovers count which reached double digits.
