First Quarter

The opening quarter saw the Magic taking an early lead with a strong offensive showing, scoring 37 points compared to Miami's 32. Despite efforts from players like Jahmir Young and Kel'el Ware, who contributed significantly on both ends of the court, Miami struggled to contain Orlando's fast-paced attack.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, both teams displayed solid defense. The Heat managed to narrow down some of their defensive gaps but still trailed as they headed into halftime. Precious Achiuwa made his presence felt with crucial rebounds and defensive plays that kept Miami within striking distance.

Third Quarter

As play resumed after halftime, Orlando continued to maintain control by outscoring Miami once again. Pelle Larsson provided a spark for the Heat with his shooting accuracy from beyond the arc and aggressive drives towards the basket. However, turnovers plagued Miami’s efforts as they tried to close in on O-Town Magic’s lead.

Fourth Quarter

Entering into what would be a decisive fourth quarter for both teams, Miami showed resilience by narrowing down Orlando’s lead thanks to contributions from Andrew Wiggins and Jaime Jaquez Jr., who combined for several key baskets during this period. Despite these efforts and an impressive bench performance contributing over half of their total points (51), it wasn't enough as time expired before they could complete their comeback attempt against an efficient home team performance led by Paolo Banchero.
