First Quarter

The opening quarter saw the Hawks take an early lead with a strong performance, scoring 35 points compared to the Heat's 24. The Dirty Birds capitalized on their offensive opportunities and set an aggressive pace that put Miami on the back foot from the start.

Second Quarter

Miami responded in the second quarter by tightening their defense and outscoring Atlanta with a 30-point effort while limiting them to just 19 points. Bam Adebayo contributed significantly during this period with his defensive prowess and rebounding skills, helping to close the gap before halftime.

Third Quarter

In what could be described as a sluggish third quarter for both teams, Miami managed only 16 points while Atlanta added another 22 to their tally. The Heat struggled with turnovers during this period which hindered their ability to maintain momentum gained earlier.

Fourth Quarter

The fourth quarter was pivotal as both teams battled fiercely. The Heat scored an impressive 32 points but were matched closely by Atlanta’s own offensive surge of 26 points. Jaime Jaquez Jr.'s shooting accuracy was crucial here as he kept Miami within striking distance heading into overtime.

Overtime

Overtime proved decisive as both teams fought hard; however, it was ultimately decided by one point in favor of Atlanta who scored 17 against Miami’s valiant effort of adding another 16 points. Despite Precious Achiuwa's commendable defensive efforts throughout overtime, it wasn't enough to secure victory for Flash.

This game highlighted several key moments where turnovers played a critical role in shaping its outcome—an aspect that will need addressing moving forward if they are to improve upon what went wrong for Miami Heat during this matchup against such formidable opponents like Dirty Birds again soon!
