Second Quarter

In the second quarter, the Knicks responded robustly by outscoring the Heat 36-25. Despite this setback, Kel'el Ware stood out for Miami with his remarkable performance in rebounds and scoring efficiency. He secured a total of 19 rebounds throughout the game and maintained a high field goal percentage of 73 percent.

Third Quarter

The third quarter saw both teams battling fiercely as they each scored over thirty points; however, it was again Miami who matched their first-quarter output with another impressive display by scoring another set of 37 points to keep pace with New York's aggressive offense. Jaime Jaquez Jr.'s contribution was notable as he added crucial points while maintaining an efficient shooting rate.

Fourth Quarter

As tensions rose in the final quarter, both teams continued to exchange baskets rapidly. The Knicks managed to edge out slightly ahead in this period by scoring one more point than Miami's tally of 26. Despite this narrow margin in favor of New York during these closing moments, Bam Adebayo’s defensive efforts were pivotal for keeping Miami within striking distance until time expired.

Overall, although Miami fell short against New York with a final scoreline reading 132-125 in favor of their hosts (Knicks now holding a record standing at twenty wins and eight losses), there were several game-changing plays from both sides that kept fans on edge throughout all four quarters.
