First Quarter

The game kicked off at State Farm Arena with both teams matching each other's intensity. The first quarter ended in a deadlock, as both the Heat and the Hawks scored 32 points. The Dirty Birds relied heavily on their fast break opportunities, converting them into crucial points.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, Miami's defense tightened up significantly. They limited Atlanta to just 19 points while adding another 31 to their tally. Pelle Larsson was instrumental during this period, contributing significantly with his scoring and playmaking abilities.

Third Quarter

The third quarter saw a resurgence from the Hawks as they outscored Miami by six points. However, Kel'el Ware's presence in the paint for Flash was undeniable; he grabbed rebounds and blocked shots that kept his team within striking distance.

Fourth Quarter

Entering the final stretch of play, it was all about Miami's offensive firepower. They exploded for 36 points compared to Atlanta’s 27 in this decisive period. Norman Powell led this charge with his efficient shooting and relentless drives to the basket.

Despite some turnovers throughout the match-up, what went wrong for Miami Heat did not overshadow their overall performance as they capitalized on second-chance opportunities and maintained control over possessions when it mattered most.

As fans reflect on post-game thoughts Miami Heat will surely focus on how well-rounded efforts from players like Andrew Wiggins contributed across various facets such as rebounds and assists which were pivotal in securing victory against an aggressive opponent like Atlanta.
