Throughout the game, the Bucks demonstrated resilience and strategic play. They managed to lead for 5 minutes and 40 seconds, showcasing their potential to dominate on court. Despite their efforts, they were unable to maintain this lead throughout the game. The team's performance in paint was notable; they attempted 39 shots in paint and successfully made 23 of them, translating to a shooting percentage of 59 percent from this area. This contributed significantly to their total points in paint which tallied up to 46.

The Bucks also showed strength from beyond the arc and at the free-throw line but struggled with consistency. They attempted 27 three-pointers but only converted seven into points, resulting in a three-point shooting percentage of just 26 percent. At the free-throw line, they had better success with an attempt count at 32 and making 21 of those shots which gave them a free throw percentage of approximately sixty-six percent.

On defense and rebounding fronts, however, challenges were evident for Milwaukee as they collected only four steals throughout the game compared to Indiana's seven steals. Moreover, while both teams grabbed an equal number of offensive rebounds (15), it was on defensive rebounds where differences emerged; The Bucks secured twenty-five defensive rebounds whereas Pacers outperformed slightly by gathering thirty-seven.

The Indiana Pacers capitalized on fast breaks more effectively than Milwaukee did during this matchup. Out of twelve fast break attempts by Indiana resulted in nine successful conversions into points totaling twenty-one fast break points which is considerably higher than Milwaukee’s six from five attempts.

Indiana's bench also played a crucial role contributing fifty bench points compared to Milwaukee’s ten bench points indicating depth was key for Indiana’s strategy leading them towards victory.
