The team's ability to dominate in fast breaks was evident as they converted 75 percent of such opportunities into points. Their prowess in controlling the paint was also on display with an impressive 66 points scored in that area. Defensively, they managed to keep their opponents' scoring under control, maintaining a defensive rating just over 100 points per possession.

However, it wasn't all smooth sailing for Minnesota; in an earlier matchup against Philadelphia's squad, they faced challenges that led to a loss despite scoring 113 points and shooting over half of their attempts successfully from the field. This game highlighted some areas for improvement as they allowed 127 points and struggled defensively with a rating above 123 per possession.
