Analyzing past performances, the Timberwolves have demonstrated a robust defense coupled with an efficient offense. In their last game against the Memphis Grizzlies, they secured a victory with 110 points and an efficiency game score of 95.2. Their defensive prowess was highlighted by 13 blocks and holding their opponents to just over one point per possession defensively.

Furthermore, in another previous match-up against Brooklyn Nets, despite scoring fewer points (101), Minnesota's defense shone through once again as they limited Brooklyn to just 86 points – underlining their ability to control games through defensive pressure.
