In their last game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, despite an overtime push and outrebounding their opponents 61 to 58, the Timberwolves fell short by nine points. Their efficiency rating of 98 and true shooting percentage of 50 were not enough to secure victory. However, they demonstrated resilience with a bench contributing 46 points and maintaining a lead for nearly half the game.

Prior to that, Minnesota faced off against the Indiana Pacers in an impressive display of offensive prowess. They led for most of the game thanks to their effective field goal percentage of 50 and an even higher offensive rating than their opponents. The team's ability to convert second-chance opportunities into points was notable as well, scoring 21 from such plays.

The home advantage at Target Center has been significant for Minnesota; this was evident when they overcame Portland Trail Blazers with an efficiency game score that soared past previous games at 108.6. Their defensive efforts resulted in seven blocks while offensively they shined with a true shooting percentage reaching up into the sixties.

The upcoming clash will test whether Minnesota can maintain its offensive momentum while tightening up defensively against Denver's formidable squad. Fans should expect intense competition as both teams vie for dominance on court.
