Nets Struggle Against Defensive Pressure

On Brooklyn's side, despite their efforts to keep pace during certain stretches—most notably scoring their highest quarter total with 36 points in Q2—they struggled against Minnesota’s defensive schemes. The Nets shot just under league average at only 37 percent from overall field goals and were limited to making only about one-third (29 percent) of their three-point attempts.

Brooklyn’s offensive struggles were compounded by turnovers; they committed ten total turnovers compared to Minnesota’s twelve but failed to capitalize effectively on those opportunities due largely because they couldn't break through consistently against Minnesota’s defense anchored by Gobert who also recorded one block alongside his other contributions.
