First Quarter

The Wolves set the tone early, scoring an impressive 38 points in the first quarter. Anthony Edwards led the charge with his dynamic play, contributing significantly to Minnesota's offensive prowess. The Wizards managed to keep pace initially, putting up 28 points but struggled defensively against Minnesota's relentless attack.

Second Quarter

Continuing their momentum into the second quarter, Minnesota added another 35 points to their tally. Rudy Gobert was instrumental under the basket, securing rebounds and adding crucial points in the paint. The Twolves' defense also tightened up, limiting DC's scoring opportunities and maintaining a comfortable lead as they headed into halftime.

Third Quarter

In the third quarter, both teams displayed strong defensive efforts; however, it was again Minnesota who came out on top by scoring another 35 points while holding Washington to just 21. Julius Randle showcased his versatility by contributing on both ends of the court—scoring efficiently and assisting teammates.

Fourth Quarter

Despite a late surge from DC in which they scored 36 points in the final quarter, it wasn't enough to overcome Minnesota’s dominance throughout most of the game. The Wolves closed out with a solid team effort that included contributions from players like Naz Reid off the bench who helped maintain their lead until time expired.
