First Quarter

The game began with the Clippers establishing an early lead, scoring 23 points compared to the Timberwolves' 19. The Wolves struggled to find their rhythm offensively, with Anthony Edwards leading his team but unable to close the gap.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, both teams picked up their pace. The Clippers extended their lead by adding another 31 points. Despite efforts from Rudy Gobert and Naz Reid on defense and rebounds, Minnesota managed only 23 points in this period.

Third Quarter

The third quarter saw continued dominance from Lob City as they scored another 26 points. The Twolves found themselves trailing further behind after managing just 17 points. Turnovers were a significant issue for Minnesota throughout this period.

Fourth Quarter

Minnesota attempted a comeback in the fourth quarter with an impressive performance that saw them score 37 points. Anthony Edwards led this charge alongside contributions from Julius Randle and Bones Hyland. However, it was not enough to overcome LA's strong start as they sealed their victory with a final push of 35 points.

Despite valiant efforts in various segments of play, what went wrong for Minnesota Timberwolves was evident through turnovers and missed opportunities early on that allowed LA to build an insurmountable lead.
