Fiserv Forum Showdown: New Orleans Pelicans Face Milwaukee Bucks

The Pelicans have shown a mixed bag of results in their recent outings, which should make for an unpredictable and thrilling matchup.

In their last three games, the Pelicans have experienced both ends of the win-loss spectrum. Their most recent home game against the Houston Rockets ended narrowly with a 106-104 defeat. Despite this loss, they demonstrated strong offensive skills by scoring 58 points in the paint and securing 55 total rebounds. However, turnovers were a concern as they gave up possession 16 times.

Prior to that, they secured a convincing victory on the road against the Cleveland Cavaliers with a score of 123-104. This game showcased their ability to convert fast breaks into points – tallying up 24 fast break points – and highlighted their efficiency from beyond the arc with a three-point shooting percentage of approximately 43 percent.

However, consistency remains an issue as evidenced by another close home game before that against Memphis Grizzlies where they fell short by just two points (115-113). The team's resilience was on display as they fought back from behind but ultimately couldn't clinch victory despite outscoring Memphis in points off turnovers (26-21) and maintaining a solid free throw percentage at around 92 percent.

The upcoming game promises to be challenging for New Orleans as they navigate these inconsistencies while playing away from home. Fans can expect them to leverage their strong paint presence and rebounding capabilities while aiming to tighten up ball security to minimize costly turnovers.

The action unfolds on January 28th at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee where fans can catch all the excitement live on BSWI or BSNO networks depending on their location. With tip-off scheduled for local time zone convenience, supporters should be ready for what could be one of the more intriguing games this season.
