In their last game against the Houston Rockets, despite a narrow loss with a score of 104-106, the Pelicans demonstrated strong paint presence by scoring 58 points there and outrebounding their opponents with 55 total rebounds. However, turnovers were an issue as they gave up possession 16 times. Their shooting from beyond the arc was less than ideal at only 26 percent.

The previous game saw a more dominant performance from New Orleans as they triumphed over Cleveland Cavaliers with an impressive scoreline of 123-104. Their offensive efficiency was on full display with an effective field goal percentage of 63 percent and true shooting percentage reaching 66 percent. They also showcased depth with bench players contributing significantly to that victory.

Against Memphis Grizzlies, although ending up on the losing side again by just two points (113-115), there were positive takeaways for New Orleans. They managed to keep turnovers down to eleven and shot well from three-point range at a solid rate of 44 percent.

As they head into this game against the Clippers, maintaining control over turnovers and capitalizing on fast-break opportunities will be crucial for New Orleans. The team's ability to dominate inside while also stretching defenses from deep could be key factors in securing victory away from home.
