In a close encounter with Miami Heat, despite falling short with 95 points against the Heat's 106, the Pelicans demonstrated resilience and an ability to draw fouls effectively. They also showcased their strength in second-chance points, scoring 25 compared to Miami's 11. However, they struggled from beyond the arc with only a 22 percent success rate from three-point range.

The team rebounded impressively in their next game against Houston Rockets where they put up an astonishing 127 points while allowing only 105. Their offensive prowess was on full display as they shot an impressive 52 percent from the field and racked up fast break points (29), showcasing their speed and transition play.

Continuing this trend of high-octane offense was evident when they scored a whopping 133 points against Washington Wizards' defense that allowed them too much space inside, leading to a staggering 74 points in paint for New Orleans.

The upcoming game poses new challenges as Toronto's home court has been known for its intense atmosphere which could play into how both teams perform. The Pelicans will need to maintain their offensive efficiency while tightening up defensively if they want to come out on top in this matchup.
