The Pelicans have shown a strong offensive game in their past few outings, with a notable victory over the Knicks where they put up 115 points and led for over 43 minutes of playtime. Their efficiency was impressive, boasting a true shooting percentage of 66 percent and an effective field goal percentage of 62 percent.

However, consistency has been an issue as seen in their game against the Chicago Bulls where they fell short by eight points despite having home-court advantage. The Pelicans managed to score 106 points but turnovers were a concern; they gave up possession 19 times which ultimately cost them the game.

Their most recent performance against Miami Heat highlighted some defensive struggles as well. They allowed 106 points and were unable to maintain control throughout, leading for just over a minute during the entire matchup.

The upcoming clash will be challenging as it takes place on enemy territory where crowd support can significantly influence momentum. The Pelicans will need to tighten up defensively while maintaining their offensive firepower if they hope to come out on top.
