In their last game against the Portland Trail Blazers, the Pelicans dominated with a 126-107 win. They led for over 42 minutes and showcased an impressive offensive rating of 124 points per possession while maintaining a defensive rating of just over 107 points per possession. Their efficiency game score was an outstanding 116.7, indicating a well-rounded team effort.

The previous match-up against the LA Clippers also ended in favor of New Orleans, finishing at 112-104. The team's bench contributed significantly with 43 points, and they maintained control for most of the game with an assist-to-turnover ratio of 3.5.

However, it wasn't all smooth sailing as they faced defeat against Cleveland Cavaliers before these two wins. Despite putting up a fight and scoring fast break points efficiently at a rate of nearly 79 percent from attempts, they fell short with a final score of 95-116.

The upcoming clash will be no easy feat as Boston Celtics come into this game looking to challenge every point on both ends of the court. The Pelicans will need to leverage their home-court advantage at Smoothie King Center and rely on their recent trend of high-scoring offense combined with solid defense to overcome this formidable opponent.
