In their last game against the Suns, despite an impressive 111 points on home turf, they were outpaced by Phoenix's dynamic offense that put up 124 points. The Pelicans demonstrated tenacity with a steal count of 10 and an assist-to-turnover ratio of over three, indicating strong ball movement and defensive pressure. However, they fell short defensively allowing 124 points against them.

Their performance was more robust when facing off against Milwaukee Bucks at home. They secured a win with 107 points while holding the Bucks to just 100. Their defense stepped up with five blocks and eleven steals contributing to their victory.

However, consistency has been elusive as evidenced by their struggle against Boston Celtics where they scored only 92 points compared to Celtics' solid 104-point finish. The team's shooting efficiency dipped in this matchup which proved costly.

The upcoming game presents an opportunity for redemption as well as a challenge given Phoenix's potent scoring ability demonstrated through high field goal percentages across recent games. The Pelicans will need to leverage their home court advantage effectively if they are looking to add another win to their current record of forty-five wins and thirty losses.
