In their last game against the Phoenix Suns, despite a valiant effort, the Pelicans fell short by 13 points. They managed to score 111 points but allowed 124, indicating some defensive lapses they'll need to tighten up. Their offensive efficiency was notable with an assist-turnover ratio of 3.22 and a commendable 41 percent from beyond the arc.

Prior to that game, they faced off against the Boston Celtics and experienced another setback with a final score of 92-104. The team's shooting percentage dipped to 40 percent from the field which contributed significantly to their loss despite maintaining a solid assist-turnover ratio of 2.44.

However, it's not all doom and gloom for New Orleans as they secured victory over Milwaukee Bucks before these two losses. In this game, they showcased their defensive prowess by limiting the Bucks to just one hundred points while posting an impressive seven-point margin victory themselves.

The upcoming contest will be no walk in the park as both teams are eager for success. The Pelicans' ability to capitalize on fast-break opportunities and maintain offensive efficiency will be crucial factors in securing a win away from home.
