In their most recent matchup against the Phoenix Suns, despite a strong offensive showing with 111 points and a commendable assist-to-turnover ratio of 3.22, the Pelicans fell short by 13 points. Their scoring was led by an impressive paint performance, notching up 60 points inside but ultimately being outdone by Phoenix's higher efficiency.

Against the Boston Celtics, New Orleans struggled with shooting efficiency across all areas of play. They managed only 40 percent from two-point range and were less effective from beyond the arc compared to Boston's sharpshooting night. A bright spot was their fast-break performance where they scored 17 points at a conversion rate of 64 percent.

However, it wasn't all doom and gloom for New Orleans as they bounced back against Milwaukee Bucks with a seven-point victory. The team showed improved defensive prowess, holding Milwaukee to just one point per possession while also dominating second-chance opportunities with a fifty percent conversion rate leading to seventeen crucial points.

The upcoming game promises an intense battle as both teams vie for dominance on court. With home advantage on their side and an opportunity to capitalize on Los Angeles' weaknesses, it will be interesting to see how coach Willie Green strategizes this encounter.
