In their last outing against Detroit Pistons, the Knicks displayed an offensive masterclass by putting up 140 points and securing a commanding 30-point victory. This win was characterized by an impressive shooting performance with a field goal percentage of 56 and three-point shooting at 46 percent. The team also dominated in paint scoring with 68 points and showed depth with 50 bench points.

However, consistency has been elusive for the Knicks as evidenced by their narrow loss to Memphis Grizzlies just days before. Despite scoring a respectable 123 points, they fell short by four points in that contest. Their defensive efforts were less effective compared to their offensive output; they allowed 127 points and struggled with turnovers.

Another close encounter saw them pitted against Portland Trail Blazers where they lost in overtime despite leading for most of the game. They scored heavily again with 129 points but allowed even more on defense, conceding 132.

The upcoming game is crucial for the Knicks as they look to build on their strong offensive displays while tightening up defensively. Fans can expect high energy from both teams and another potential high-scoring affair given recent trends.

The game is scheduled for December 1st at Madison Square Garden and will be broadcasted on MSG network channel 634 for home fans looking to catch all the action live from New York City's basketball heartland.
