Can the Knicks Conquer the Grizzlies at FedExForum?

As the New York Knicks prepare to face off against the Memphis Grizzlies at FedExForum, fans are eager to see if their team can continue their recent performance trend. The Knicks have been on a rollercoaster ride of late, with a record of 22 wins and 16 losses. Their last game against the Dallas Mavericks ended in a narrow defeat, with a final score of 124-128. Despite this loss, there were positive takeaways: they shot an impressive 49 percent from the field and 79 percent from the free-throw line.

The Knicks showed resilience in their scoring distribution across quarters and demonstrated strong offensive capabilities by putting up more than 30 points in both third and fourth quarters. However, turnovers remain an area for improvement as they gave up possession 16 times.

In contrast, during their home game against Portland Trail Blazers, they dominated with a commanding win of 112-84. The team's defense was particularly noteworthy as they held Portland to just 38 percent shooting while themselves shooting at an efficient rate of 42 percent from the field.

Their ability to convert fast break opportunities into points was evident in both games – scoring an average of over twenty points from fast breaks – showcasing their speed and transition play strength.

The upcoming match promises to be challenging as they visit Memphis' territory. Playing away could test New York's adaptability and mental toughness; however, given their recent form that includes high-scoring paint presence (56 points against Dallas), fans can expect them to put up a formidable fight.

The scheduled game will take place on January 14th at FedExForum in Memphis; tip-off is set for local venue time (US/Central). Fans back home in New York can catch all the action live on MSG network channel number six hundred thirty-four or follow along through various streaming services available online.
