From the outset, the Knicks established control with an assertive performance that saw them lead for over half an hour of game time. Their offensive execution was particularly notable as they shot an efficient 52 percent from the field and an outstanding 52 percent from beyond the arc. The team's scoring was well-distributed, with bench players contributing a significant 40 points to their total tally.

Defensively, New York also excelled by limiting Miami's scoring opportunities and maintaining pressure throughout all four quarters. They managed to draw more fouls than their opponents and capitalized on these chances by making 18 free throws. Additionally, they outrebounded Miami with a total of 57 rebounds – including a substantial number of defensive rebounds which helped thwart many second-chance point opportunities for the Heat.

The Heat did put up resistance and had moments where they shone offensively; they led by as much as ten points during one stretch and were successful in fast break situations, converting them into points with high efficiency. However, it wasn't enough to overcome New York's consistent performance across both ends of the court.

As fans look ahead after this commanding home win for New York Knicks fans can mark their calendars for another exciting matchup when their team heads to Spectrum Center in Charlotte to face off against Charlotte Hornets on January 29th at 7:00 PM Eastern Time. This game will be broadcasted on MSG channel 634 for away fans wanting to catch all the action live from Charlotte.
