The Knicks' recent outings have been a rollercoaster of highs and lows. In their last game against the New Orleans Pelicans, they fell short with 92 points against the Pelicans' impressive 115. Despite this setback, there were positive takeaways; they managed to draw more fouls and had an assist-turnover ratio of 2.45 – indicating good ball movement and decision-making.

Prior to that, in a nail-biter against the Detroit Pistons, the Knicks edged out with a two-point victory (113-111). Their ability to convert second-chance points was crucial in this tightly contested game as they scored 23 from such opportunities. Moreover, their bench contributed significantly with 24 points.

However, consistency remains an issue as evidenced by their performance against the Boston Celtics where they lost by fourteen points (102-116). Although they shot an impressive 94 percent from the free-throw line and had strong paint presence scoring 38 points inside, it wasn't enough to secure victory.

Looking ahead at their matchup with Philadelphia on March 10th at Madison Square Garden – where crowd support can be influential – it's essential for New York's defense to step up and contain Philly's offense while capitalizing on turnovers which has been one of their strengths.
