Knicks Look to Extend Winning Ways Against Raptors at Scotiabank Arena

As the New York Knicks prepare to face the Toronto Raptors, fans can anticipate an exciting matchup at Scotiabank Arena. The Knicks have been on a roll, with their recent victory over the Trail Blazers showcasing their ability to dominate both ends of the floor. With a 105-93 win, they demonstrated a solid defensive effort, holding their opponents to under 100 points and maintaining a defensive rating of approximately 97 points per 100 possessions.

Offensively, the Knicks have shown they can distribute the ball effectively, as evidenced by their impressive assist-to-turnover ratio of over 1.3 in their last game against Portland. Their scoring has been balanced with contributions from both starters and bench players, which could be crucial against a Raptors team known for its depth.

The Knicks' performance in paint has also been noteworthy; they've consistently outscored opponents in this area. In addition to efficient shooting within close range (approximately 64 percent), they've maintained an effective field goal percentage near 47 percent.

However, consistency will be key for New York as they had previously stumbled against Philadelphia at home with only a 32 percent field goal percentage and losing despite out-rebounding their opponents significantly.

With these trends in mind, fans should look for New York's defense to set the tone early while capitalizing on fast-break opportunities created by turnovers. The team's ability to control the paint will likely be another critical factor if they wish to secure another road win.
