The Knicks took control early on, outscoring the Pacers in every quarter. They began with an explosive first quarter, putting up 38 points to the Pacers' 32 and didn't let up. By halftime, New York had extended their lead significantly thanks to scoring 31 points in the second quarter against Indiana's 22. The trend continued after halftime as well; by adding another 27 and then closing with a solid performance of scoring another 25 points in each of the final two quarters.

New York's offense was firing on all cylinders throughout this contest. They shot an efficient 46 percent from field goal range and were particularly dominant inside, making over half of their attempts from two-point range which contributed significantly to their total score. Their prowess wasn't limited to just shooting; they also excelled at rebounding with a total of sixty-six rebounds - twenty offensive ones that led to twenty-six second-chance points.

Defensively, The Knicks were just as impressive. They managed five blocks and seven steals while holding Indiana to only ninety-one points - thirty below their own tally. This defensive effort limited Indiana's shooting percentage across all areas: forty-three percent overall from field goals and forty-four percent from beyond three-point line despite making twelve threes.

The Pacers did have moments where they shined - notably managing six blocks and stealing five times themselves while also drawing nineteen personal fouls against New York players which translated into seventeen made free throws out of twenty-two attempts for seventy-seven percent accuracy.

Looking ahead, fans can catch The New York Knicks as they continue their campaign against The Indiana Pacers for another exciting game scheduled on May seventeenth at one o'clock PM Eastern Time at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. This upcoming encounter promises more action-packed basketball which will be broadcasted live on ESPN for fans not able to make it to Indianapolis.
