Key Performances from the Knicks


Jalen Brunson led the way for the Knicks with an impressive stat line of 23 points, 6 assists, and 7 rebounds. His performance was crucial in securing this tight victory for his team. Brunson's ability to control the game's pace and make decisive plays was evident throughout the match.


Miles McBride also stood out by contributing significantly offensively with 17 points on an efficient shooting night where he hit 64 percent of his field goal attempts and an outstanding 60 percent from beyond the arc. McBride's energy and sharpshooting provided a much-needed spark for the Knicks.

OG Anunoby added another layer of offense with his team-high score of 19 points alongside contributing defensively with two blocks and one steal. Anunoby's versatility on both ends of the court played a pivotal role in this closely fought contest.


Grizzlies' Notable Efforts


Despite falling short by one point, several Grizzlies players put up notable performances. The home team dominated inside, scoring a remarkable total of 74 points in paint compared to New York’s effort which resulted in only half that amount (44). This dominance inside was underpinned by their superior rebounding numbers as they grabbed a total of 64 rebounds over New York’s tally which stood at just below two-thirds that number (41).

The efficiency from free throws showcased by Memphis was nearly flawless as they capitalized on these opportunities by converting them into scores at an impressive rate (96 percent). However, their struggle from beyond three-point range where they managed only four makes out of thirty-one attempts (13 percent) proved costly.
