The New York Knicks and the Phoenix Suns faced off in a highly anticipated matchup that saw the Knicks emerge victorious with a final score of 112-98. The Suns, despite a valiant effort, could not overcome the Knicks' momentum and now stand at 35-43 for the season.

Key Performances on Both Sides


The game was marked by standout performances from several players. For the New York Knicks, OG Anunoby led the scoring charge with an impressive 32 points, showcasing his efficiency by shooting 76 percent from the field and hitting three out of four attempts from beyond the arc. Mikal Bridges also made significant contributions with 22 points, six rebounds, and four assists while shooting 57 percent overall and an exceptional 67 percent from three-point range.


On the other side of the court, despite their loss, Phoenix Suns fought hard throughout all quarters. Their efforts were highlighted by their ability to draw fouls effectively as they attempted 19 free throws during this encounter but struggled with long-range shots making only four out of thirty-four attempts from beyond three-point line which significantly impacted their scoring potential.

Strategic Plays Lead to Victory


The strategic execution by New York played a crucial role in securing this win. The team's ability to capitalize on fast break opportunities added an exciting dimension to their game plan; they scored an outstanding total of nineteen fast break points. Additionally, efficient ball movement was evident as they racked up twenty-eight assists over Phoenix's twenty assists.


Defensively both teams were evenly matched each recording three blocks however it was New York's defensive strategy that limited Phoenix’s scoring opportunities inside paint allowing them sixty points compared to their own fifty points scored in paint demonstrating a well-rounded defensive effort.
