In their last game against the Orlando Magic, despite a high-scoring effort of 115 points, the Thunder fell short defensively, allowing 126 points. Their shooting was on point with a free-throw percentage of nearly 90 percent and three-point shooting at around 40 percent. However, they struggled in the paint and from two-point range, which ultimately contributed to their loss.

The previous home game offered a stark contrast as Oklahoma City dominated the Boston Celtics with an impressive scoreline of 150-117. Their offensive prowess was evident with a field goal percentage close to 60 percent and exceptional three-point shooting at 50 percent. The team also excelled in fast-break situations and points in paint.

However, consistency remains an issue for Oklahoma City as evidenced by their performance against the Philadelphia 76ers where they scored only 96 points while conceding 115. A low field goal percentage of just under 40 percent highlighted offensive struggles that night.

Fans should look out for how Oklahoma City will balance their explosive offense while tightening up defensively against Washington Wizards' challenge. With recent games showing fluctuating defensive ratings from excellent to concerning levels (93 to over 134), it's clear that maintaining defensive intensity will be key for success.

The upcoming game is scheduled on January 7th at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City where fans can catch live action on BSOK network starting from one o'clock AM UTC time zone.
