In their last game against the Dallas Mavericks, Oklahoma City emerged victorious with a 120-109 win. This victory was marked by an impressive offensive display, where they shot 48 percent from the field and an even more remarkable 43 percent from beyond the arc. Their defense also stepped up, limiting Dallas to just 42.5 percent shooting.

The game before that saw another strong performance as they overpowered the Washington Wizards with a score of 127-110. The Thunder's offense was on fire, hitting over half of their shots from the field and nearly 46 percent of three-point attempts. They dominated time leading and showed resilience on both ends of the court.

However, it's not all been smooth sailing for Oklahoma City; they faced a setback against Orlando Magic where despite scoring 115 points and maintaining a high free throw percentage at over 90 percent, defensive lapses cost them as they allowed Orlando to score 126 points.

The upcoming game promises to be challenging as Miami Heat will have home-court advantage at Kaseya Center—a venue known for its vibrant atmosphere that could energize both teams but particularly bolster home support for Heat.

Fans can expect Oklahoma City Thunder to continue leveraging their offensive strengths while aiming for tighter defense against a formidable opponent like Miami Heat. With recent trends showing an uptick in performance during clutch moments and significant contributions across the roster including bench scoring, there is cautious optimism among supporters that Thunder can secure another win on this road trip.

The action unfolds on January 11th at Kaseya Center in Miami with tip-off scheduled for half past midnight UTC (7:30 PM Eastern Time). Fans won't want to miss this matchup which will be broadcasted nationally on TNT channel number 245.
