However, they demonstrated offensive prowess by shooting an effective field goal percentage of 55 and scoring heavily in the paint with 52 points. Their defensive efforts were notable as well, blocking seven shots and making six steals.

In their previous matchup before facing the Lakers, Oklahoma City secured a dominant victory over the LA Clippers with a score of 134-115. Against Memphis Grizzlies earlier in December, Oklahoma City showcased both offensive and defensive strength by winning comfortably with a scoreline of 116-97. They managed to block ten shots that night while stealing eleven times from their opponents. This balance between offense and defense could be crucial when taking on Minnesota.

The upcoming game is set for January 21st at Minneapolis' Target Center – a venue known for its energetic atmosphere which could play into how both teams perform on court. Fans can catch this exciting matchup live on BSN or BSOK networks depending on their location.

With recent performances indicating strong momentum for Oklahoma City Thunder, fans should expect another thrilling NBA encounter filled with strategic plays and high energy from both sides.
