In their last game against the Los Angeles Lakers on December 24th, despite a loss, the Thunder scored a substantial 120 points. This offensive prowess was not an anomaly; it's become part of their identity this season. They've been particularly effective in scoring within the paint, putting up 52 points from close range against the Lakers. However, defense proved to be a chink in their armor as they allowed 129 points.

The game before that saw OKC triumph over the LA Clippers with an even more convincing offensive display, racking up 134 points and demonstrating exceptional shooting accuracy with a field goal percentage of nearly 59 percent on December 22nd. Their ability to convert opportunities into points was evident as they capitalized on turnovers, scoring an impressive 20 points off them.

Against Memphis Grizzlies on December 19th, OKC's defense shined through by limiting them to just under one point per possession while amassing ten blocks for themselves – showcasing their ability to disrupt opponents' offense effectively.

The upcoming game against Charlotte presents another opportunity for OKC to assert its dominance both offensively and defensively. The Hornets have had struggles of their own and will need to bring a much-improved performance if they hope to challenge the Thunder at home.

Oklahoma City fans can expect another high-scoring affair with strong contributions from both starters and bench players alike – given that bench production has been solid in recent outings. It will also be interesting to see if OKC can maintain or even improve upon its assist-to-turnover ratio which stood at around three in previous games – indicative of smart ball movement and decision-making.
