In their last game against the New Orleans Pelicans on April 30th, OKC demonstrated why they're considered one of the most formidable teams in the league. With a final score of 97-89 in favor of OKC, their balanced attack was on full display. The team's efficiency rating stood at 104, with a notable defensive rating of approximately 88 points per possession. This defensive prowess limited their opponents significantly below their average scoring rate.

Moreover, OKC's ability to dominate both ends of the court was evident in another matchup against the Pelicans on April 27th where they secured a commanding victory with a scoreline of 106-85. Their offensive rating soared to over 110 points per possession while maintaining an impressive defensive stance by limiting NOP to just under 85 points per possession offensively.

Perhaps most impressively was OKC’s performance in Game 2 against NOP where they amassed an astounding total of 124 points while only conceding 92. This game underscored OKC’s offensive might with an effective field goal percentage nearing 68 percent and true shooting percentage cresting at an astonishingly efficient rate above seventy percent.

Despite these impressive statistics and victories, it would be remiss not to acknowledge the challenge posed by DAL. The Mavericks have consistently proven themselves as worthy adversaries capable of strategic gameplay that can disrupt even the most well-oiled machines like OKC. Their home advantage at American Airlines Center further complicates predictions as home courts often provide not just physical but psychological edges too.

However, given OKC's recent form and statistical dominance across both offense and defense - highlighted by significant leads and time leading during games - there is every reason to believe they will carry this momentum into Dallas. The key for Oklahoma City will be maintaining their high efficiency on offense while continuing to apply pressure defensively to stifle DAL’s attempts at establishing rhythm early in the game.

Fans eagerly anticipating this clash should mark their calendars for May 11th when these two titans meet at American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX. Scheduled for a tip-off time at precisely half-past two PM local time (2:30 PM), viewers can catch live action broadcasted exclusively on ABC network channels ensuring you won’t miss what promises to be one more exhilarating chapter in this competitive saga between Oklahoma City Thunder and Dallas Mavericks.
